Biodegradable Compostable Packaging Details:
It manufactured using forming mold and transfer mold then oven dried or natural wind and after pressed, we called it Dry-Press in the indusry. Typical wall thickness ranges from 1.5mm to 3.0mm. The surface in contact with the mold is relatively smooth but not as smooth as thermoformed type, while the other side is rough. The raw material is typically OCC(Old Corrugated Container). The mold and product cost much cheaper than wet pressing process.

We are a manufacturer, we have our own production plants located in Southern China.
2) What type of product do you make?
We produce Molded Pulp Trays and Tooling/Mold.
There's three types of molded pulp trays we supply:
Manufactured use 'Dried-In-Mold' (also known as 'Wet Pressing') modern technology allows for high quality thin-walled items with good dimensional accuracy, and smooth, rigid surfaces. The wall thickness range from 0.6mm to 1.3mm. Main used for tableware, premium consumer electronics packaging and cosmetic package.
Transfer molded means after formed then transfer under the sun or oven to dry, which is widely used today, we called it Dry Pressing in the molded pulp industry. The product surface feature is one side smooth but no so smooth as type 1, the other side is rough, the wall thickness range from 1.5mm to 3.0mm. Main used for home appliance, electronics, hardware, wine shipper, cooler, egg cartons, fruit container, cup carrier/holder, medical care.
It manufactured with a secondary or specific treatment process, such as additional coating, printing, hot stamping or additives.
3) Are your molded pulp products biodegradable?
Yes, our pulp tray can be 100% biodegraded in natural conditions within 90 days, which is largely shorter than the degradation of synthetic plastics
4) Will there be a mold fee for doing this trays?
Yes, there be a mold fee for all customized design.
